Lindsay is an eager, enthusiastic, deeply optimistic, professional teacher of ESL with 6 years of experience teaching in Changwon, South Korea. She believes that English language education is currently the most exciting place to be! All the different cultures of the world have so much to offer one another, truly.She has experience working with large and small classes of children, as well as tutoring adults and children one-on-one. She was heavily involved in the local community in Korea, organizing fundraisers for orphanages and women’s shelters, helping to begin English language community theater in Changwon and doing translating work for local news. As you can imagine, after 6 years abroad, Lindsay is perfectly comfortable with non-native speakers of English.Her teaching style is passion and excitement- she loves to learn, and so, loves to teach. Her methodology is student-centric, guiding her students to develop their own curriculums. Confidence is a huge part of learning language, and Lindsay experiments with different methods of developing learner confidence. Activities/ methods include games, art projects, focused conversation (with vocabulary suited to the topic), role play creation and whatever else comes to mind!

Lindsay never lost her childhood curiosity and, as such, is interested in just about everything. She keeps busy with philosophy, physics, history, videography, performance, film, reading, travel and music. She also keeps up a regular meditation practice, to better understand herself and others.
